Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Regulator No. 1" 8 day time only, nickel plated movement in rosewood case, c1874
CONDITION:
the rosewood case retains its original finish, nicely rubbed down. The base has minor veneer chips on the front corners and the upper finials are professionally replaced. The cap above the lower finial is reattached with four nails. The lower outer finials have both been repaired and the door lock has been replaced. The painted dial is original and in very good condition. Hands are original. Original pendulum with gilt rod. Original weights. Ht 70"
